Our Story

Small in size, huge in standards — the philosophy behind every Lemar litter.

About Lemar Canine Exports

At Lemar Canine Exports, our story began with two dedicated breeders who became lifelong friends through a shared passion, mutual respect, and a commitment to breeding exceptional Dachshunds.

With years of experience and a genuine love for the breed, we focus on raising healthy, well-socialised puppies that reflect the highest standards of quality, temperament, and care. Every puppy is nurtured in a loving environment and receives the attention needed to give them the best possible start in life.

Our mission is to connect families and reputable breeders around the world with outstanding South African Dachshunds. We are committed to ethical breeding practices, professionalism, and ensuring that every puppy is safely and responsibly prepared for its new home.

At Lemar Canine Exports, we don't just export puppies—we share our passion, our dedication, and the very best of our breeding programme with the world.

Who We Are

Raised in-home. Thoughtfully placed to forever homes.

Lemar Canine Exports is a South African dachshund breeder specialising in Miniature and Standard lines across Smooth and Long-haired coats. We breed in small, carefully-planned litters — never volume — and every puppy is raised inside our home, not a kennel block, from day one.

Placement is where most of the work happens. We take the time to understand each family's lifestyle before matching a puppy, and we use reputable export companies who manage the full international export process so buyers overseas never have to navigate customs, permits or logistics alone.
